ABANDON. s. m. État où est une personne, une chose abandonnée. Il est dans un abandon général. Il est dans l'abandon de Dieu, dans l'abandon de tous ses amis.Abandon, se dit 'aussi en parlant Des discours, des ouvrages, des manières, etc. d'Une sorte d'abondance facile, de négligence aimable, qui exclut toute recherche, tout effort, toute affectation. Il y a dans cette partie de son discours un heureux abandon. Elle a dans ses manières un abandon séduisant.
f♛/b] Il se dit aussi pour Résignation, Un parfait abandon à la volonté de Dieu; et aussi pour L'oubli de soi-même, Se laisser aller à l'abandon; un aimable abandon; et généralement pour, Renoacemeat, oubli. L'abandon de tous solar. Cet abandon de vous-même nous désole.
